Our RAPID Clinics Program offers same-day access to HIV prevention and care services in a safe, affirming space. We provide HIV testing, a rapid on-ramp into HIV care, PrEP consultations and prescriptions, STI screenings and treatment, and individualized navigation of healthcare coverage—all at no cost to our clients. Whether through our fixed clinic-site (RAW) or the Mobile PrEP Unit, we meet our clients where they are, with care that’s fast, confidential, and tailored to their needs.
HIV Rapid & Confirmatory Testing
On-site HIV testing with results in minutes. If a rapid test comes back reactive (preliminary positive), we can provide a confirmatory lab test right away—at no cost to the person. Our team is here to answer questions, explain next steps, connect them to care and provide support without delay. No appointment or insurance needed.
PrEP
PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a once-daily pill or long-acting shot (injection) that is over 99% effective at preventing HIV. We offer PrEP consultations, prescriptions, and follow-up care at both our RAW & Mobile PrEP clinics. Whether a person is just learning about PrEP or ready to start, we can help them choose the option that works best for their life. No insurance or referral needed.
PEP
PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a short course of HIV medication that is taken after a potential exposure to HIV to prevent infection. It must be started 72 hours or sooner after the exposure event to be effective. For clients who think were exposed to HIV, our team can quickly assess risk and provide PEP at no cost. We also offer follow-up testing, and help connecting to ongoing prevention options like PrEP.
STI Testing & Treatment
Confidential testing for common sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis. If an STI test is positive, we provide treatment and help with accessing additional care as needed. We do our best to make STI testing and treatment as easy, hassle- and judgement-free as possible.
Imediate/Same-Day ART Initiation
Starting HIV treatment immediately after diagnosis protects health and reduces the chance of passing HIV to others. We offer same-day access to antiretroviral therapy (ART) and support through every step of the care-engagement process—from confirmatory testing, to receiving an initial prescription, through finding a care home. We also help with re-engagement for people who were already diagnosed but not currently in care.
DoxyPEP for STI Prevention
DoxyPEP (Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a strategy used to reduce the risk of certain STIs—like chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis. Taken as a single dose within 72 hours of having sex, DoxyPEP gives protection beyond condoms and regular testing. We offer DoxyPEP to eligible clients as part of our commitment to evidence-based preventive care. We help clients decide if DoxyPEP is right for them and also provide prescriptions and monitoring while on it.
